After a summer break in August, welcome to October’s e-alert! In this month's edition, we discuss important issues employers should consider when preparing contracts of employment.

A lot of employers make use of standard template contracts for new (and existing) members of staff. Given the number of variables contained within such templates, great care is required to ensure that, on an individual employee basis, the correct terms and conditions apply, which reflect the specific role and position, as well as meeting the company’s business needs.
