COVID-19 Statement, 19 March 2020
19 March 2020
At Wilsons we wanted to keep you up to date with our plans due to COVID-19 and recent advice from the Government.
The safety and wellbeing of our team, clients and contacts – and their families - is our paramount concern.
It is also important to let you know that we continue to provide all of our services in the usual way from our Salisbury and London offices. We will continue to support you in these unprecedented times.
Our Coronavirus Steering Group has been in place for several weeks, planning for this eventuality. The senior team are meeting regularly to pre-empt and plan our approach and flex our contingency planning as appropriate. This will continue for the duration of the pandemic.
To minimise the risk of transmission, we have postponed our training and business development events for the foreseeable future and have cancelled non-essential travel. The majority of our team are used to working from home or remotely, and will continue to do so. We will be encouraging the use of virtual meetings and conference calls wherever possible. Our offices in Salisbury and London remain open, and we will do all we can to facilitate safe face-to-face meetings if required. We have provided enhanced hygiene facilities and guidelines. As a firm we have robust, agile working systems which will ensure we can continue to operate as normally as possible, whilst at the same time providing maximum assurance for our team, clients and contacts. Business continues - as it must in these extremely challenging times.
Although we are postponing our events, we will continue to stay in touch via telephone, email, video calls and by publishing more content on our website and social media channels than ever before.
There’s no question that over the next few months all of us at some point are going to need support and guidance. Please do not hesitate to use us as a sounding board – that’s what we’re here for.
