HR Briefing November 2025

Date: 13 November 2025
Venue: Wilsons Solicitors, Alexandra House, St Johns Street, Salisbury SP1 2SB
Time: 08:30 - 10:15
Since our HR Briefing in Autumn 2024 on the implications of the Employment Rights Bill ('Bill'), there have been a number of significant amendments proposed by the Government, with the Bill now anticipated to be enacted in Autumn 2025 and rolled out over the next couple of years.
We invite you to join us for a focused HR briefing that will update you on the key changes and timelines, including the current position on:
- Day one unfair dismissal rights.
- Zero hours workers and shift cancellations
- The ban on 'fire and re-hire' practices
- Sexual harassment in the workplace and the proposed ban on Non-Disclosure Agreements (such as those contained in Settlement Agreements) relating to harassment and discrimination
As the Government has now set out its 'roadmap' for implementation of the new Bill, we'll help you understand the proposed timeline for these changes and what practical steps you can take now to prepare.
The briefing will be followed by Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions specific to your sector.
Pastries and drinks will be provided before and after the briefing, with an opportunity to speak to our lawyers and network with other local businesses.
Please register below to secure your place.
We look forward to seeing you there.
