The Chalke History Festival, the UK’s largest history festival, takes place from 22 June to 28 June 2026 in the stunning 70-acre setting of Broad Chalke near Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Through a vibrant programme of talks, debates, interactive living history, panels, and performances, the festival brings the past to life, offering visitors an engaging and educational experience.
This year's festival hosts many talks that will be delivered by some of the most esteemed experts in the field, covering an expansive range of historical topics from ancient eras to modern times.
Wilsons proudly sponsored and introduced the talk, The Road to War: 1920s & 30s, hosted by Anthony Scaramucci and James Holland. The discussion delved into how The Great Depression destabilized nations, fueled extremism, and helped lead to the Second World War. James Holland and Anthony Scaramucci discussed how these events shaped the conflict and the post-war order that brought decades of Western peace and prosperity.
It was a privilege to once again entertain our guests at this excellent event.
