Ellen Rutter

Ellen is an associate in our Property team.

Ellen graduated from the Queen Mary, University of London with an LLB Honors and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bristol. Ellen also holds a Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice.

Ellen completed her training contract with a North Dorset firm and qualified as a solicitor in July 2021.

Ellen advises on a range of property matters within the commercial and residential context. Examples of the type of transaction Ellen can assist with are:

• Commercial leases
• Commercial property purchases or sales
• Charity property transactions, including leases, acquisitions and disposals
• Technical property matters such as easements, covenants or other variations
• Residential tenancy agreements
• Residential sale and purchases

Recent Work

• Settling a number of leases for a national charity
• Completing on the acquisition of a new commercial unit for a corporate entity
• Completing on the sale of an investment property portfolio, including premises with commercial and residential tenancies

Away from the office, Ellen enjoys dog walks, exercising and spending time with family.
