Sylvia Stooke

Sylvia is a Licensed Conveyancer in the Residential Property and Farms & Estates team.

Having worked previously for several other local law firms, Sylvia joined Wilsons in September 2007, working initially in our Trusts, Probate and Private Client teams.  Sylvia moved into Property over 12 years ago and has experience in all different areas of conveyancing, including residential sales and purchase (both freehold and leasehold), re-mortgages, auction sales, charity matters, and first registrations of property and land, both large and small.

Two years ago, after finding she enjoyed property work so much, Sylvia decided to undertake Level 4 and Level 6 studies in Conveyancing Law and Practice in order to become a Licensed Conveyancer.  She obtained excellent exam results and qualified in May 2026.

Sylvia is totally committed to looking after her clients and takes great pride in helping to steer them through what can often be a stressful and difficult time when moving home.

Most recently Sylvia has helped a first-time buyer purchase a property within a very short timeframe ready for her to relocate before the start of the university year and has also dealt with the first registration of a large area of unregistered land in Dorset for a Company client.
