
Ellen is a Solicitor in our Wills & Trusts Disputes team. Ellen read law at the University of Southampton, graduating in 2017. She then undertook her Masters of Law LLM at the University of Law, Guildford, before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2020. She joined Wilsons in November 2022.
Ellen specialises in dealing with trusts and probate cases and regularly advises in connection with the administration of an estate or trust, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, claims surrounding the validity of a Will, issues surrounding suspected undue influence or fraudulent calumny and problems with executors and trustees.
In addition, Ellen has a keen interest in equine disputes including claims for misrepresentation, claims under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and professional negligence claims. Ellen has been riding since the age of 5, has owned her own horse for the past 18 years and is fully immersed in the equine world.
Ellen is a student member of ACTAPS and is fluent in French. She also has a good working proficiency in Spanish (written, read and spoken).
