Vicky Wilson

Associate

Vicky is an associate in our education team. Vicky read law at Swansea University and completed the Legal Practice Course at UWE Bristol.  Prior to qualification, Vicky was CEO of a charity in South Somerset and was the legal assistant to the Bursar of an educational trust in Bath. She advises a wide range of charities on registrations and incorporation, governance and constitutional issues.

Vicky has a broad range of experience in the charities and education sector, including contentious, non-contentious, transactional and operational work. She has particular expertise in safeguarding and advises on a number of sensitive and complex safeguarding cases. Vicky frequently advises and supports the firm's independent and academy school clients on pastoral issues such as admissions, behaviour, exclusions, special educational needs and discrimination claims. She also advises on topics such as governance and compliance with regulatory requirements; internal panel hearings; effective management of parental complaints; First-tier Tribunal claims; exam malpractice; Parent/School Contract and policy review; compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation.

Vicky is a member of the Education Law Association.

In her spare time Vicky enjoys travelling, swimming and hiking.
