James is a trainee solicitor in our Corporate & Commercial team with previous seats in Tax & Trusts and Farms & Estates. James joined Wilsons in September 2021. Before starting his training contract, James graduated from the University of Exeter with a first class degree in Law. He went on to complete the LPC at the University of Law with an MSc in Law, Business and Management, achieving a Distinction.
Outside of work, James is a keen cricketer and enjoys skiing and travelling. James played representative age group cricket and after touring Sri Lanka, captained his school 1st XI side to a ranking of 2nd in the world. He is now an England Cricket Board Advanced Level 3 Coach.
