Lisa is an Associate in the Family Team. Lisa joined Wilsons in 2022 as a Chartered Legal Executive and was shortlisted as Chartered Legal Executive of the Year in 2019 at the Devon and Somerset Legal Awards. She is also a member of Resolution, an organisation committed to ensuring matters are resolved in a constructive way.
Lisa has many years’ experience within Family Law, advising clients from broad sectors, from business men and women, farming clients and homemakers. She specialises in Divorce and Finance but can assist clients with all aspects of Family Law, to include separating unmarried parties, cohabitation disputes, protection from domestic abuse and disputes with regards to child arrangements.
Her drive to achieve best result for her clients comes from the satisfaction of seeing their journey through the process and knowing that the outcome she has achieved for them means that her clients can move forward comfortably with their life. She prides herself on reaching an out of Court settlement, appreciating how overwhelming that process can be. This is balanced with supporting and advising her clients every step of the way should the Court process be required and having an in-depth appreciation of the Court system.
Lisa’s approach is sympathetic, understanding but robust when required.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time in the countryside with her husband and cockapoo, tending to their allotment and garden, and going on long walks, ending up in their village pub! You’ll also find her in the gym and having cocktails with her girlfriends!
